Our home is tucked away at the foot of Estes Cone just southwest of historic Estes Park, Colorado. Here you’ll find plenty of privacy, wildlife, and fun!

The house features three bedrooms, three and a half baths; a spacious kitchen, with adjoining dining area; two living areas with spectacular mountain views, two decks, and much more!

Estes Park

Located in Larimer County, Estes Park was founded by in 1859. By 1870 the area was already hosting tourists attracted by the fishing, mountaineering, and spectacular scenery.

Just 5 minutes away is the 860 acre YMCA of the Rockies has hiking, crafts, fishing, zip lining, horseback riding, miniature golf, volleyball, tennis courts, horse shoes, and a fabulous Day Camp Program for children and teens.

Only 15 minutes away, the town center of Estes Park has shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars, and the fabulous MacDonald’s Bookstore. There you'll find supplies or activities to occupy any age visitor.

Hiking

Rocky Mountain National Park covers 415 square miles with over 300 miles of hiking trails, and two of Colorado’s "Fourteeners"!

Fish the Big Thompson River, the Wind River (ten minute walk from the house), Sprague Lake, Mary’s Lake, Lake Estes, and many, many alpine lakes and streams in the park.

Crafts

Vistas and subjects for painting and photography are all around. Spend hours weaving a basket, making jewelry, or creating a tie-die masterpiece at the YMCA incredible craft shop.

History

Explore the remarkable history of Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the explorers and Indians who first inhabited the area. Walk through history at the Lula Dorsey Museum at the YMCA.
